Challenge Rules, Equipment & Assessment

Australasian Rescue Challenges are conducted under specific rules. Participating teams are assessed in 3 scenario classes (Entrapped, Controlled and Immediate). Within each class teams are assessed in 3 skill areas (Command, Technical and Medical).

Full details are explained in the challenge rules and assessment guidelines which are reviewed and amended by the ARRO Technical Committee each year. The documents listed below are all available to ARRO members. If you are not a member and would like to join, click the link below.

Teams registered for the next Australasian Rescue Challenge

Teams that register for the next Austraslasian Rescue Challenge will be issued with a temporary username and password to enable them to access all the most up to date rules and assessment criteria.

If you have registered and not received your username and password and think you should have one, contact ARRO immediately by phone or email.
